Research Brief: Listening to Families: The Family Learning Outreach Study

The Family Learning Outreach Study increases our understanding of how to promote greater parent involvement in family literacy and learning activities. Previous research indicates that increasing family learning opportunities in the home and community is a powerful way to improve student achievement and family success. This study applies social marketing research techniques to identify the most effective messages and messengers for encouraging greater parent involvement in learning activities.
